Dr Mehdi Samani acquired his medical qualification overseas in 2007 and obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015. He holds certification from the Australian Medical Council (AMC) as well.

Mehdi is passionate about teaching and provides his services as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. He has extensive experience and is highly capable of managing a variety of cases.

Dr Samani is a proficient doctor in Cairns North who specialises in Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation, Cardiology, Geriatrics and Skin Care. He gained valuable experience while working with psychiatrists and psychologists for looking after patients with treatment-resistant depression and anxiety.

Mehdi is bilingual, he can speak English and Persian.
