Dr Mavis Vaz works in the Melbourne CBD clinic at Era Health. In 2009, she relocated from Canada to Australia for her medical studies and after graduation, she decided to stay here. She lived in Brisbane and completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 2012.

Mavis worked extensively for a considerable time in rural areas across Australia during her training, including Rockhampton and Emerald in Queensland and Orbost and Warragul in Victoria. She holds the Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Dr Vaz is a proficient doctor in Melbourne with a special interest in Preventative Health, Sexual Health, Travel Medicine, Paediatric Medicine and Chronic Disease Management. She also provides consultations for Opportunistic health screening, Family Planning, Planning Pregnancy and Women's Health, including Cervical Screening (Pap Smears).

Mavis loves to spend her spare time on cooking projects and enjoys travelling as well.
