Overview
Mr Timothy Kang is an experienced Traditional Chinese Practitioner who specialises in Acupuncture. He obtained a Diploma of Acupuncture in Hong Kong before graduating from the School of Medicine in Jinan University, Guangzhou in 1986. He came to Australia as a Postgraduate Scholar, and became the co-odinator of the Quit Smoking program at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 1988. He has been a member of ANTA since 1994. He became a Fellow of Professor Wei Fengpo in 2001. He moved to London to work as a Senior Lecturer at the Teaching and Research Centre of Chinese Medicine, Middlesex University. Mr Kang was Vice-President of the Macau Chinese Medical Acupuncture Association, and was is part of the Executive Council of the Committee of Natural Therapy and World Federation of Chinese Medicine. He specialises in treating: Headaches, sinusitis, sore throat, insomnia, depression, anxiety, digestive system problems, menstrual problems, morning sickness, acne, eczema, tinnitus, musculoskeletal problems, smoking cessation, Bell's palsy and weight issues.
