Looking for a GP?

I graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1977, and after completing hospital training at the Prince of Wales Hospital and its’ linked hospitals, I underwent General Practice training in the Family Medicine Program.

Since then I have experienced great satisfaction with working in General Practice in various parts of Sydney and I have been with MC Family Medical Practice for 28 years. This continuity is very special and I count it an amazing privilege to has been able to care for several different generations of various families over the years.

All aspects of General Practice interest me, including the medical, surgical and sports medicine fields, and I also have a specific interest in mental health, participating in diagnosis, management and counselling in this area. I am a Fellow of the Australian Society of Psychological Medicine. Consequently, I have a holistic approach to caring for my patients, being interested in every aspect of their lives if they choose to share it with, without being intrusive. I try to be friendly, thorough and perceptive in my work.

I am married, with two children and three grandchildren. I love playing the piano (with my A Mus A), singing, reading books and gardening.

I have always appreciated working in a team and find that the excellence and supportiveness of the doctors and other staff at MC Family Medical Practice is and has always been a great incentive to come to work each week!
