Since joining our practice Dr Bottoni has been welcomed by our patients both new and existing. His thorough treatment planning and high attention to detail combined with patient manners always leave customers fully aware of their treatment options and make them feel comfortable in his care. Living in the Gold Coast area with his young family, in his spare time you’ll find Dr Bottoni windsurfing, cycling, working out at the gym and sometimes sailing our beautiful coastline.

Dr Bottoni is a keen sportsman and has previously spent years around Australia in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where he competed in the Laser Class Sailing Event representing Switzerland. Born and raised in Switzerland, Dr Bottoni grew up multi-lingual speaking Swiss-German, Italian, German, French, and a little bit of Spanish. Dr Bottoni graduated from the University of Zurich with a Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry before completing his post-graduate degree in Orthodontics in Munich (Germany). He has been practicing paediatric dentistry for the Children’s Dental Clinics City of Zurich for nearly 6 years, then as orthodontist in Bremerhaven (Germany) for 7 years. In Australia he has worked on the East Coast in various orthodontics practices in Gold Coast, Brisbane and Tweed Heads for about 5 years.

Dr Bottoni is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA) as a Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentistry, and is a member of the Australian Dental Association. He also holds current Orthodontic registration in New Zealand, Switzerland and Germany. We look forward helping you achieve a beautiful functional natural smile!
