Dr Ravi Morisetty

Dr Ravi Morisetty joined Champion Medical Centre in November 2015, bringing a wealth of international experience and knowledge to our medical centre community.

Ravi obtained a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 1998 and worked extensively in several hospitals of India, England and Scotland. He worked in the departments of Trauma and Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry and Mental Health, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is passionate about medical teaching as well and has been actively involved in the teaching of medical students from different university medical schools. He aims to continue teaching along with practicing.

As a doctor in Bertram, Dr Morisetty believes listening to his patients and motivating them to improve their health is at the heart of how he practices medicine. He specialises in all aspects of Family Practice and Primary Care and is keenly interested in Reproductive Health, Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dermatology and Skin Cancer screening, Surgery and Paediatrics. He has also undertaken advanced training in these fields.

Ravi became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS) in 2006. He obtained his membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2011 and completed a Diploma for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care (DFSRH) from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in the same year. Additionally, he holds a Diploma in Orthopedic.

Other than being a doctor, Dr Morisetty is a family man who is happily married and has two young boys. His favorite pastime activities are playing cricket and badminton. He is enthusiastically looking forward to serving the local community and providing them with the best care possible.

Dr Ravi Morisetty is impressively linguistically versatile. On top of English, he is able to converse in Kannada, Hindi, Russian and Telugu.
