Overview
Dr Tarun Yamdagni is an accredited Fellow of the Australasian College of GPs. He specialises in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. He holds a membership of The Skin Cancer College of Australasia. Doctors have to complete extensive training and to continue their professional development to receive accreditation from the Skin cancer college.
Dr Yamdagni acquired his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Topiwala National Medical College in 2002. He became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2008. He obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012.
Tarun is passionate about Skin Care Medicine and completed multiple certificate courses from the Skin Cancer College Australasia including Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine in 2014, Certificate of Dermatoscopy in the same year, Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy (ACC-D) in 2015 and Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery (ACC-SCMS) in 2016.
Dr Yamdagni’s vast experience and medical qualifications set him apart as a highly competent GP in Thornlie. - Full body mole scan/ skin check using state-of-the art Fotofinder videodermoscopy.
- Preventative treatment (using Efudix, Aldara, Picato)
- Review of intermediate lesions using high quality images follow up (digital monitoring)
- Biopsy of suspicious lesions
- Surgical management of skin cancers ( simple ellipse, flaps or grafts)
- Non surgical management of some low risk cancers
- Recall for skin checks tailored to individual risk factors (and preference)
