Dr Satish Devata

Dr Satish Devata has been working as a GP in Australia since 2006. He gained valuable experience while working in Wheatbelt and spent 8 years working in Rockingham. He relocated to the Bertram area in September 2015.

Satish acquired his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1999 and completed his Post Graduation in General Medicine from India in 2004. During his postgraduate training, he worked in rotations and placements in various medical specialties including Neurology, Gastroenterology, Renal Medicine, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine.

Dr Devata is a competent GP in Bertram who enjoys working collaboratively with all his patients and assisting them with their health. He also loves teaching and has taught medical students in India as well as worked as a tutor at the University of Western Australia. He has been offering tremendous help to overseas doctors for the last 9 years to get them familiarised with the Australian General practice system.

Satish has been an accredited Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) since 2008. He prefers and takes great pride in providing his patients with holistic care. He enjoys working in all areas of general medicine.

Dr Devata is happily married and has 2 young daughters. He enjoys playing cricket, badminton and table tennis in his spare time.

Satish aims to support the community to attain the best quality of life possible from diagnosis to recovery.

In addition to English, Dr Satish Devata speaks Hindi, Kannada and Telugu with fluency.
