Overview
Dr Yamini Preetham completed her primary schooling and high schooling in Perth before travelling to Adelaide to undertake her medical school training at the Flinders University of South Australia.
She returned to Perth to complete her Internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and spent her years as a Resident Medical Officer working at Hollywood Private Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus before entering specialist training in General Practice.
Dr Yamini has practiced as a Specialist General Practitioner (GP) since attaining her Fellowship in General Practice over a decade ago.
She enjoys her chosen specialty and the expertise it brings with it to manage a multitude of primary care presentations.
She greatly enjoys the continuity of care that she can provide to her patients.
Dr Yamini also has an interest in the education of future GPs and has been a Supervisor for General Practice Registrars since 2014.
