Overview
Dr Amar Altabary graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Basrah, Iraq, in 2003. He is a highly skilled GP in Torquay who has vast experience in all facets of general practice.
Dr Altabary obtained the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2015. Furthermore, he is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Amar gained valuable experience overseas for seven years, as well as working for Western Health Australia for 3 years. He is also a part of The Quay Family Healthcare. He has a special interest in Dermatology. Amar is multilingual and speaks English as well as Arabic.
Outside of the practice Dr Amar loves reading, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
