Dr Shilpa Chegu is a specialist General Practitioner and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Australia & UK. She graduated from Sri B.M. Patil Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, attaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2001 and holds a certificate of Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also family Planning and Sexual health.
Dr Shilpa made the move from UK to ‘down under’ in 2018 . She enjoys the full variety of general practice with a special interest in women and children’s health and preventative medicine. She believes in patient education and enjoys continuity of care.
She holds advanced Gynae qualifications and runs the Mirena & cervical smear service at our Mount Evelyn Clinic.
She also performs Cosmetic anti wrinkle injections at Mount Evelyn Clinic. She is a talented doctor in Mount Evelyn who feels that a holistic and preventative approach to healthcare is important.
