Dr Mei Ling Leong received her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, in 2011. Dr. Mei Ling Leong trained in UK & has recently moved to Australia.
She has a keen interest in wellbeing, particularly wellbeing and Mental Health of Young People & adults. She has done Wellbeing sessions in the local schools back in the UK, and hopes to develop this in the local area. She also has experience in Palliative Care and Child Health. She practices medicine looking at the patient as a whole.
Personally, she enjoys the outdoors. She loves walking and nature and is looking forward to explore more of Yarra Valley & Melbourne in this way. She is a compassionate doctor in Mount Evelyn with a patient-centred approach to health care. Dr Leong received her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018.
