Overview
Dr Jeremy Gale has spent the past 10 years working and training at the Austin Hospital and has recently completed his Fellowship in General Practice through various clinics located in Melbourne’s North-East.
He has also completed his Certificate in Emergency Medicine at the Austin Hospital Emergency Department, and so he maintains a close relationship with the Austin by working in its after-hours clinic and Emergency Department.
Therefore he knows the local area of Heidelberg and surrounding suburbs quiet well and is both dedicated and passionate about providing high quality and person-centered care to the community.
Dr Jeremy hopes to provide an inclusive and safe consultation space for all people. His approach to general practice centers around improving the health of individuals and their families through health education and evidence-based medicine. Dr Jeremy promotes the idea that good health comes from care of the body, as well as the mind and our relationships with others.
Dr Jeremy is comfortable undertaking a range of GP-appropriate procedures, including fracture management, laceration repair, implant insertion & removal and basic skin biopsies & excisions.
Dr Jeremy counts himself a fortunate father of three children, which keeps him active and busy when not at the clinic. He spends much of his time alongside his wife doing his best to raise his children in a fun and active environment with a sense of adventure for life and compassion towards others.
