Overview
Dr George Marcus graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ain Shams University in 2003. He commenced his practise and gained experience in several medical specialties including Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry and General Practice.
George relocated to Australia in 2010 and became certified from the Australian Medical Council (AMC). He worked for 6 years in remote and isolated towns in New South Wales. He became a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018.
Dr Marcus is a competent doctor in Diggers Rest who holds uncompromising dedication to patient care and strives to uphold the highest standards. He has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Skin Cancer and Antenatal Care. He performs Minor Procedures with precision, including Implanon insertion and removal. Located on Farm Road in Diggers Rest, we are located next to a large child care centre and close by is the Diggers Rest Primary School. There is ample parking available on site for all of our patients. Our location would be well suited to anyone in the areas of Sunbury, Bulla, Gisborne South, Toolern Vale, Plumpton, Keilor North, Melton, Caroline Springs, Taylors Hill, or Hillside.
