Dr Sarah Sibson graduated from Flinders University with degrees in Medical Science (2005) and Medicine (2009) and completed her General Practice Fellowship with the RACGP in 2015. Dr Sibson worked in obstetrics and gynaecology at Flinders and Women’s & Children’s hospitals before entering general practice and has always had a passion for women’s health. After enjoying the flexibility of locum GP work for the past few years, she is excited to put down roots as part of the team at Aware Women’s Health.
Dr Sibson is a member of the GP Obstetric Shared Care program and cherishes the opportunity to care for women during their pregnancies. She will continue to be available for shared obstetric care through AWARE Women’s Health. Dr Sibson has a certificate in sexual & reproductive health and is a qualified provider for the insertion and removal of Implanon implants and intra-uterine devices (Mirena, Kyleena, copper IUDs). In addition to general practice Dr Sibson also works as a surgical assistant, mainly in obstetrics and gynaecology.
