Overview
Dr Yasmin Khanbhai is a New Zealand born Australian trained GP who is excited to be a part of the new Burnside Family Practice. She completed her medical degree from Flinders Medical School in 2015 and worked in the Northern and Southern Adelaide Health Networks while completing her intern and resident years.
Yasmin obtained her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BA) and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (BSc) from Otago New Zealand before starting her career in medicine in Adelaide. She also holds a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
As a doctor in Linden Park, Dr Khanbhai specialises in all areas of general practice and is especially interested in Mental Health, Sexual Health and Women's Health. Her consultations are also available for Cervical Screening, Excision of Skin Lesions, Pap Smear, Iron Infusion, Immunisations and Vaccinations including Travel Vaccinations. She is known for her skills in Mirena IUD and Implanon insertion and removal as well.

Burnside Family Practice is a private practice, we require full payment on the day of consultation and will process your refund through Medicare electronic claiming. We offer reduced fee for Pension and Health Care card holders.
