Dr Spiro Doukakis

Dr Spiro Doukakis is a Greek Speaking General Practitioner working at our Dover Gardens Medical Centre. He specialises in Family Medicine, Acute Care and Paediatrics. He has extensive experience of more than 25 years under his belt.

Spiro completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Adelaide in 1988. He obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1997.

Dr Doukakis is a compassionate doctor in Dover Gardens who is extremely knowledgeable, he listens and makes decisions collaboratively with the patients and assists them with their health. At the beginning of his professional career, he worked in many GP locations including Hazel Grove Medical Centre from 1992 to 1997. He worked for over a decade in many gpHealth Clinics as well.

Spiro co-managed and worked from 1995 to 2014 as an urgent care after hours GP with gp Solutions, now 13SICK. He still actively takes part in the education of doctors and provides his services as a clinical adviser with 13SICK.

Dr Doukakis joined Pro Health Care in 2019 and specialises in all areas of general practice.

Dr Spiro Doukakis’s favorite pastime activities are watching sports and travelling. He especially focuses on keeping himself fit.
