Overview
Dr Katina Koukourou, BMBS, FRACGP, completed her medical degree at The Flinders University of South Australia in December 1998. She completed her Internship at the Royal Adelaide hospital undertaking rotations in her area of interest being Muscluoskeletal Medicine , Orthopaedics, and Spinal Surgery.
She then worked at the Flinders Medical Centre, in areas of obstetrics, paediatrics and emergency medicine.
Following her hospital years she moved to Margaret River, Western Australia where she completed the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Katina practiced as a Rural GP for 7 years before leaving to become the founder of her own medical practice, Lifestyle Medical, practicing mainly in cosmetic medicine, skin cancer medicine, women’s health, lifestyle and preventative medicine. In Margaret River she has also been working as an emergency doctor at the rural hospital for 19 years due to her interest in acute care medicine.
Dr Katina moved back to Adelaide in 2016 and has been working as a GP as well as in cosmetic medicine and as an emergency doctor at Ashford Hospital SA.
Dr Katina enjoys keeping fit, surfing , running , the outdoor lifestyle, and motivating others to maintain their best health and version of themselves.
