Karthik has a keen interest in the field of sports medicine. After completing a physiotherapy degree in 2009 he went on to study medicine at Flinders University and completed his medical degree in 2013. After working at Flinders Medical Centre for two years and obtaining his FRACGP, he is now undertaking extra Fellowship training in sports related injuries and illnesses.
He currently works with the Adelaide Crows and has previously worked as part of the on-field medical team with the Norwood Football Club, Woodville West Torrens Football Club and Adelaide United Football Club.
