Overview
Dr Rathai Shan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Jaffna, India, in 1995. She moved to Australia and received the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2004. Rathai became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010. Additionally, she holds a Diploma of Child Health (DCH). Dr Shan has extensive experience of more than two decades and is highly capable of managing a variety of cases.
Dr Shan is a skilful GP in Ferny Grove with a special interest in children and women’s health. She is a member of the International Board of Lactation Consultants as well. Rathai is passionate about treating, supporting, and managing patients.
Dr Rathai Shan is a multilingual doctor; she can speak Tamil and Sinhalese in addition to English.
