Overview
We would like to welcome Dr Shah to the Broadbeach Medical Centre team.
Dr Charulata Shah will be working Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout December 2021.
Charulata acquired her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the BJ Medical College, Pune, India in 1992. She relocated to Australia in 2005 and received her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2007. For the last 16 years, she has been working extensively as a GP.
Dr Shah is a competent GP in Broadbeach who delivers invaluable expert support and guidance throughout the patient’s treatment. She is highly skilled in all areas of Women’s Health including Cervical Screening, Antenatal and Postnatal Care, Contraception and Menopause. She is well-known for her expertise in helping people dealing with different Mental Health issues.
Charulata also takes a keen interest in various areas of Family Medicine including Preventive Care and Chronic Disease Management. She is passionate about taking care of elderly patients and gets along very well with them.
Dr Charulata Shah is linguistically versatile. On top of English, she is able to converse in Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi
