Overview
Dr Paul Holownia grew up in the UK and completed his medical training at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
Dr Holownia commenced his medical career in England where he worked for two years at several NHS Hospitals including The John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and Northampton General Hospital. After that he moved to Australia and worked at various hospitals in Melbourne. These include The Alfred Hospital, The Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, Fairfield Infectious Diseases Hospital, Royal Children's Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital, Caulfield Hospital and Dandenong Hospital. He acquired his fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRCGP) in 1996.
Paul's vast experience set him apart as a highly competent GP in Brisbane. He has since worked as a GP in the metropolitan City areas of Melbourne, and Brisbane. He also served in the rural location of Port Macquarie, NSW, as well as a 2 year period back in the UK as a GP in the NHS.
Dr Holownia has special interest in Dermatology and General Family Medicine and he takes great pride in his work of helping patients with all of their health needs.
