Overview
Gaurav finished his basic medical degree from James Cook University in Townsville, before moving to Sydney and completing his training in General Practice. He gets along really well with children and has interests in paediatrics.
Gaurav is also interested in acute medicine. He further explored his interest in accident and emergency by working as a locum emergency doctor in various rural towns all over Australia before making Brisbane his home again. Gaurav like procedures wedge resection, minor ops, skin excisions, biopsy, wound management and emergency medicine.
Besides work, Gaurav enjoys spending time with his 2 little nieces who are 1 and 4 year old. He also enjoys watching AFL, playing futsal, trying new food, camping, trekking and travelling. Gaurav is a very friendly doctor and thinks if he wasn’t a doctor, he would probably be a comedian.
Having lived in India till age of 11 he is also fluent in Hindi.
