Overview
Dr Michael Yelland completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland, in 1983. Dr Yelland earned his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1989. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal from the Medicine Flinders University. He is a highly experienced professional not only in General Practice but also in the area of musculoskeletal medicine and pain management. Manual therapy, prolotherapy and other regenerative injection treatments, epidurals, and near-nerve injection treatments are in his bag of tools to help those in pain. He has held an academic post with Griffith University for many years and was closely involved in the Medical School. He is the convenor of a certificate program training GPs in managing musculoskeletal pain. Michael has a passion for early music instruments including various recorders, the cornetto, and the serpent. He provides optimal services to all his clients and is a competent GP in Arana Hills.

Directions and parking
We are conveniently located in the Arana Hills Plaza Shopping Centre on Patricks Road. Look for our sign, the Practice is easily found right at the front of the Centre between Coles and KMart. There is ample undercover parking as well as disabled parking spaces. There is a medical drop off space immediately adjacent to the front door of the Practice. There is a bus stop at the front of the centre and a short walk to Grovely Railway station.
