Overview
Dr Wasim Akhter completed a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the Westmead Children’s hospital and later on received a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2013. She has extensive experience of more than 15 years.
Dr Akhter’s vast experience and medical qualifications set her apart as a highly competent GP in The Ponds. She has a special interest in Women’s Health and Paediatric. She is adept at helping patients with mental health issues.
Dr Akhter speaks Bengali in addition to English. Her broad medical skills are complemented by her excellent communication and listening skills which are appreciated by her patients.
