Dr Gregory Chang

Dr Gregory Chang graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1993 from The University of Western Australia. He began his dental career in the North West town of Port Hedland and the surrounding aboriginal communities of Yandeyarra, Nullagine, Marble Bar, Jigalong, Punmu, and Cotton Creek. After two and a half years he transferred to the metropolitan government clinic at Warwick, where he worked for a further three years. During that time he worked in other practices in the metropolitan area from Joondalup to Gosnells; settling in Ballajura for 4 years. After 10 years of working for other people he decided to start his own practice. He prides himself on continuing education to keep abreast of new procedures and techniques. Travel to the eastern states are sometimes required if the courses are not available here in Western Australia.

Dr Gregory Chang is a member for the ADA WA Branch. He served on the Dental Awareness Mouth committee in 2002, 2003, 2004. He is also an active member of the esteemed The Dental Study Group of Western Australia: serving as president in 2011, and as committee member 2010-2014. He is also a current member of The Australian Prosthodontic Society (WA branch) and, The Australian Society of Periodontology (WA branch) serving as secretary for the group in 2005, 2006.

Dr Gregory Chang was also a clinical tutor to the dental students in 2000-2002. He still continues to mentor students in the dental field including dental assistants, dental therapists and dental hygienist in the practice.

He is a REGISTERED DENTIST with the Australian Dental board.

In his spare time, Dr Chang spends it with his partner and their 4 young children. He volunteers at his daughters’ schools with the occasional presentation on dental health. Online word games of Scrabble and Words with Friends are challenges that Dr Chang revels in.
