Comprehensive dental care for every stage of your life

Belmont Dental Surgery is a dental clinic in Belmont that has special interests including General Dentistry, Family Dentistry, General Exam & Clean, Periodontal Charting & Cleaning, Cosmetic Dentistry, Fillings, Restorations, Crowns, Bridgework, Veneers, Wisdom Tooth Extractions, Sports Mouthguards, Nightguards, Splints for Bruxism, Root Canal Therapy.

We are a friendly team and try not to take ourselves too seriously, saving that for the dentistry. You should find us professional but personable, an approach we hope will facilitate a good working relationship between you and your dentist.

Our premises are fitted out to a high standard. We have digital x-rays & OPG for increased patient safety and convenience and in addition we have operating microscopes in our two main treatment rooms, something which is fast becoming the standard of care for many dental procedures.

While we provide a full range of general dental services we are not a sales oriented practice. Our aim is to help you to have the best teeth and oral health that you can personally achieve by offering a full range of treatment options but also taking into consideration the combination of constraints we all face such as our existing teeth and our finances.

We are always happy to welcome new patients and will also do our best to accommodate those with a dental emergency. You can help us achieve this by confirming appointments via our SMS reminder service and by giving us as much notice as possible if you must cancel or postpone, this allows us to re-allocate the time.

Dental disease is largely preventable and our priority is assisting you to achieve and maintain good oral health. On this basis, we generally recommend that our patients see the dentist at least once a year. This visit will involve a comprehensive oral examination and where necessary cleaning and dental x-rays. Brushing, and flossing, or interdental cleaning, are the mainstays of any good oral healthcare regime, think of them as the cheapest form of dental health insurance.Your dentist will be happy to offer advice and tips on good oral hygiene practice and we have a full range of interdental brushes available for purchase.

We are happy to see children and recommend that you bring your child regularly from a young age for preventative maintenance appointments. This allows us to address issues in a timely manner and allows your child to get used to the idea that their oral health is important, and importantly that a visit to the dentist is not something to be afraid of. Where a significant amount of work is required or where a child is particularly anxious about visiting the dentist we would recommend referral to a paediatric dentist.

Our dentists are associated with a range of different Private Health Funds including HBF, Bupa, CBHS, NIB and HCF. Please contact us to find out more.
