Dr Kiran Gupta

Kiran graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2000 and gained her Bachelor of Dental Science. After graduation she worked as a locum in South Gippsland with DHSV and andalso in several Community Health Centres. During this time, Kiran also worked at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne but particularly enjoyed her experience with School Dental at Eastern Health which gave her the opportunity to work with children of all ages.

Kiran has worked in the private sector since 2002, beginning in Bayswater before starting full time in Langwarrin in 2005. Kiran has been a valued member of Langwarrin Dental & is excited about the new direction we are taking as The Smile Centre Langwarrin.

Kiran understands that many people don’t enjoy dental visits, which is why she tries to create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for her patient’s. Kiran’s aims are for her patients to feel in control of their appointment to alleviate their apprehension and develop trust. Experience has shown that this will enable patient’s to continue their dental education with her and establish long term goals to promote optimal dental health.

Kiran enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, treating children, making their time in the chair fun & pleasurable and also has an affinity with our senior patients and those who have individual challenges.

Kiran is a member of the ADA and attends regular professional development conferences and courses and has also participated in charity work overseas.
