Dr Mac Dean graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centred care and believes that every patient deserves to feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout their dental journey.

Mac enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in preventive, restorative, and cosmetic treatments. He is also experienced in more advanced procedures, including wisdom tooth extractions and dental implants, allowing him to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's individual needs.

Beyond the clinic, Mac has a strong commitment to giving back. While studying dentistry, he organised a month-long volunteer trip to Peru, where he led a team of 16 dental students providing treatment to approximately 1,000 children and adults in rural communities with limited access to oral healthcare. Since graduating, he has continued to volunteer his time treating underserved communities both locally and abroad.

Known for his friendly and approachable nature, Mac takes pride in building long-term relationships with his patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys playing squash and is often found training or competing in local competitions.
