Overview
Dr Abhishek Giri is a highly skilled and dedicated dentist with extensive experience in both general and orthodontic dentistry. After graduating in 2011 from Tribhuvan University, Dr Giri began his career in a variety of government and private practice settings, gaining hands-on expertise in a wide range of dental procedures.
In 2014, a passion for orthodontics led to the pursuit of a Master of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics) from Tribhuvan University and the Institute of Medicine. Between 2017 and 2021, Dr Giri focused on orthodontics while continuing general dental care in private practice.
Alongside clinical work, Dr Giri contributed as a lecturer and clinician at Kathmandu University until December 2022, further enhancing his ability to provide top-tier care.
In 2023, Dr Giri relocated to Australia with his wife, who is also a dentist. After successfully passing the Australian Dental exams, he is now eager to bring his skills and expertise to the Canberra community. Committed to offering personalised and high-quality care, Dr Giri is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
Outside of dentistry, outdoor adventures such as hiking, travelling, and camping are enjoyed. A love of diverse cuisines, particularly dishes featuring pumpkin (especially those made by his aunt), is also shared.
Dr Giri looks forward to welcoming new patients in Queanbeyan, offering exceptional dental care to meet their individual needs.
