Dr Lisa Chong

Dr Lisa Chong graduated with first class honour from Otago University in 1996. Dr Chong has continued to develop her knowledge and update her skills by attending many dental courses and seminars centered around orthodontics, chirodontics, orthopaedic dentistry, cranial and full mouth rehabilitation, sleep dentistry and focus on the holistic approach to oral health. She specialises in TMJ pain and botox treatment for teeth grinding issues.

As an accomplished surgeon, Dr Lisa also provides services such as gum grafting, bone grafting, dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions.

Her work with fearful and anxious patients motivated her to search for other, pain free alternatives to incorporate into her work. She uses biocompatible products and provides testing for people with allergies, uses new and emerging sedation techniques to ensure you are comfortable and worry free, as well as providing alternatives to mainstream dentistry. She has explored the use of a naturopath, Reiki for faster wound healing and made a link between natural therapies and dentistry.
