Overview
Dr Rachel Sutton graduated from the University of Sydney with degrees in Science (Molecular Biotech) with Honours and Dentistry with Honours. She has ample experience in both public and private sector general and surgical dentistry, and working with patients from a very wide variety of backgrounds.
In addition, Rachel was privileged to obtain a residency position with the Department of Oral Surgery at Sydney Dental Hospital, and as such is able to provide surgical treatment for impacted wisdom teeth, perform difficult extractions and soft tissue surgery. She is also able to offer surgical treatment under general anaesthetic.
Rachel is involved in the training of new dentists as a clinical tutor in the extraction clinics, and is adept at treating very anxious patients, helping them feel calm and at ease.
She enjoys keeping up to date and informed with the latest scientific research in dentistry and is a member of the NSW Association of Oral Surgeons, British Association of Oral Surgeons and the Australian Dental Association.In her time off Rachel enjoys quiet days with her family and three small children.
