Preventative Dentistry

Includes few procedures done to prevent dental diseases from starting and/or to stop its further damage, this would include:

• 6 monthly check up to identify and diagnose any problem while it is its early stage and apply the appropriate dental treatment.
• Scaling teeth to remove the harmful hard deposits ( calculus ) from tooth surfaces, failure to remove this harmful material will cause serious gum condition and bone resorption (loss of bone) ending in teeth sensitivity, gum recessions and early tooth ( teeth ) loss.

Teeth polishing

• Fluoride therapy, to increase teeth strength and resistance to bacterial and acidic insults and to remineralise affected teeth surfaces.
• Radiographical examinations, 2 X-rays, once a year to check bone levels, checking filling conditions and exclude any further problems that a naked eye may not recognize during visual inspection ( examination ).

Restorative Dentistry

• Procedures including fillings ( front and back teeth ), crown and bridges.
• Fillings : a procedure by which a broken and/or decayed tooth is prepared to receive a filling restoring the functionality of the tooth, preventing the decay ( disease from further tooth destruction and/or infecting the Dental pulp ).
• Crowns : badly compromised teeth or teeth with Root canal therapy will need total coverage, to preserve and protect it from further loss and destruction, crowns are designed and customized per individual tooth to provide total protection.
• Bridges : an appliance designed to replace missing tooth/teeth, by preparing ( one or more ) teeth on each side of the Gap to serve as studs into which the bridge fits on to.
• Restorative Dentistry: The restorative dental care is a branch of dentistry dealing with repair and/or replace your teeth after accidents, illness and tooth loss
• Children’s Dentistry : At our clinic we encourage parents to come into the treatment room with their children to help them feel more at ease.
• Root Canal Treatment : Root canal treatment can save the tooth from being extracted by cleaning and removing all dead tissue, bacteria and infection
