Overview
Dental hygienist, Denise Ungerer, was welcomed to the Maven Dental Robina practice in December 2017. Denise originally completed her Associate Diploma of Dental Hygiene in Adelaide in 1993, before returning to the Gold Coast where she has worked as a dental hygienist since.
Throughout the course of her career, Denise has gained experience working in both general and specialist periodontal practices. She holds keen interests in periodontics and removing heavy deposits to allow gingival healing, and strives to help her patients keep their teeth for life.
Denise is passionate about providing quality care to her patients and seeing their gingival health improve over the course of their treatment. Keeping up to date with the latest in her field, she also regularly attends DHAA seminars.
Away from the practice, Denise is often found outdoors mountain biking around Brisbane and Gold Coast and spending time with her 2 rescue greyhounds and 2 rescue cats.
