About Anita
Anita provides supportive, empathetic guidance in a safe and private space so you can be assured that you will receive the best help possible when you need counselling.
She has extensive experience working with clients on a broad range of issues including anxiety, stress, loneliness, general sadness, grief, trauma and also couples counselling.
Anita is a registered professional counsellor with a Master of Counselling degree. She is also a member of the Australian Counselling Association.
She was educated, trained and has lived and worked in the USA, Japan, Australia and Indonesia, and so she is able to easily relate with people of different social, religious and ethnic backgrounds. She is also fluent in both Japanese and Indonesian.
Her approach is Person-Centered but she is also trained in Cognitive Bevaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Gottman's Couples Therapy.
