Women Assist Counselling

Women Assist Counselling is a private practice. No mental health plan is required, we accept referrals from organisations and health professionals, as well as self-referrals. We respect peoples need for privacy confidentiality and we are here to offer non-judgemental support and understanding to the needs of each client. We inspire individuals to step out of their personal comfort limitations and support them to discover connection of themselves and in their relationships.

Our aim is to assist our clients in refocusing negative mindsets towards optimistic and achievable goals. Together, we will explore your thoughts so you feel less alone and supported in finding healthy and proactive solutions to the struggles and issues you are seeking help for.

When you are struggling with your headspace and you feel your thoughts are disorganized and inconsistent, it can be difficult to make good choices. The primary services that we offer are listed below:

We have full disabled access and a warm, inviting consulting area, inclusive of a children's play area if you are bringing your little ones! Our location is ideal for the residents of, Preston, Kingsbury, Thomastown, Lalor, Bundoora and Thornbury.

As a mixed billing practice, we encourage you to become acquainted with your private health fund cover, for estimates on gap payment and cover, if applicable. We are gladly a preferred provider of NDIS. Otherwise, our fees are $80.00 for a standard consultation, with a Medicare rebate of $37.05, respectively. All valid concession card holders have a standard consultation fee of $40.00.
