Overview
I began my career as an advocate for CASA (Centre Against Sexual Assault) for five years. Working with survivors of trauma has given me an understanding of the impact that these events have on people’s lives. Subsequently I have worked in a variety of organisations learning and adapting my skills. My most recent role was within a hospital where I used different psychological modalities to help people to manage their psychological distress in the face of challenging medical conditions. In every therapeutic encounter I try to develop a safe caring environment where people feel able to explore their concerns and challenges without judgement. I am committed to helping people to live a rich and meaningful life.
