Overview
Eric Yamen graduated from The University of Western Australia with honours in 1998. He trained in clinical cardiology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Western Australia, before completing fellowships in interventional cardiology (coronary angioplasty) at Concord Hospital in Sydney in 2006-2007 and Stanford University Medical Centre in 2008-2009.
He has a clinical appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands.
Eric’s interests include management of complex coronary artery disease with angioplasty and minimally invasive therapies for valvular heart disease, atrial septal defects, patent foraman ovale and hyperthropic cardiomyopathy. He has a special interest in percutaneous (minimally invasive) management of mitral valve disease and invasive management of hypertension.
