The RANZCR Training Program
Fellowship training with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists takes a minimum of 5 years.
- Supervisor of training must certify that experience and training has been obtained in
- General radiology
- Computed tomography (CT)
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear medicine
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Angiography and basic interventional techniques
- Part I FRANZCR Examination
- Part II FRANZCR Examination
- Pathology
- Radiology
- Advanced Training Position (final year of training)
- Nuclear Medicine – takes 2 years Advanced Training
- MRI
- Mammography
- Ultrasound
- Interventional Radiology
- Or a particular sub-specialty such as Paediatric Radiology
- Up to 1 year Research can be accredited toward training
