The AFPHM Training Program
Advanced Training with the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine takes at least 3 years.
In the course of three years (full-time equivalent), trainees acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a public health physician by completing, with guidance from regional censors, supervisors, and mentors, rotations through a variety of public health activities.

Entry directly to the AFPHM Training Program without dual Fellowship is possible.

- Success in the Faculty’s Part 1 Examination prior to or in the first year of training.
- Adequate Annual Supervisor Reports
- Success in the Final Program Assessment
- Review of Supervisor’s Reports
