Australasian College of Dermatologists Training Program

The Australasian College of Dermatologists training program takes 4 or 5 years to complete. It is divided in to Basic Training (Years 1 & 2) and Advanced Training (Years 3, 4 & 5)

1. Satisfactorily complete four to five years of defined clinical and educational experiences in accredited training positions and submit all required documentation
2. Pass the Clinical Sciences Examination (CSE) and the Pharmacology Examination within the first 18 months of training
3. Perform satisfactorily in the clinical setting as defined by the summative in-training assessment process
4. Obtain satisfactory assessments of competence on specified clinical procedures and treatment modalities
5. Meet publication and presentation requirements as defined in Chapter Six of the Training Program Handbook
6. Submit satisfactory Log Books
7. Pass both the written and clinical sections of the Fellowship Examination
