Monday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pmWaverley GP is an accredited Family Medical Practice that was established in May of 2010. The doctors and staff at Waverley General Practice are committed to providing the highest standard of medical care in a friendly and courteous setting.
We are open 7 days a week from 8am-6pm weekdays, 9am to 2pm on Saturdays and 9am to 1pm on Sundays. Our After hours clinic runs on Monday and Tuesday 6pm to 8pm.
We are a private billing clinic and a gap fee is payable. We are able to process Medicare claims and can automatically arrange for the Medicare rebate to be paid to you on the day.
Please note, we have different fee's if you book an after hours or a weekend appointment. For more information, please call the practice.
Dr Harpreet Singh grew up in Western Australia and graduated in 1996 from the University of Western Australia. He has worked in the Waverley area for over 12 years. His special area of interests are asthma, diabetes and paediatrics. He has two school age children and likes to play tennis. Please note, Dr. Singh only consults in English.
Dr Ina Takkar was born in India and graduated from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She arrived in Australia in 1998. She has a special interest in women's health, antenatal care and paediatrics. She has been working as a GP in Victoria for 11 years. She speaks fluent Hindi and Punjabi. She enjoys reading, music and has two school age children.
Dr Pramita Banerjee was born in India and has lived in Australia since the age of three months. She graduated from Monash University in 1994 and has been working in General Practice in Glen Waverley since 2000. Pramita has completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has done further training in Skin Cancer Management. She enjoys all the varied aspects of General Practice. In her spare time she loves to read and dabbles in photography. She is married with two sons.
Dr Pippa Marsland graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1988. She has enjoyed working in General Practice in Glen Waverley since 1996. Pippa has completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Family Planning Certificate. She is interested in all aspects of general practice/ family medicine, with special areas of interest in Women's Health and Antenatal care. When not working, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family, reading, art and theatre, and hiking in the wilderness.
Dr Jan Parker graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1980 and completed a Diploma in Obstetrics in the UK in 1985. Her special areas of interest include Women's Health, Paediatrics and Antenatal Care. She has been practising in the Waverley area for over 20 years. Outside of medicine her interests include ballet, music, reading and gardening. She is married and has 3 children.
Dr Judith Riseley studied medicine at Monash University. She has felt privileged to provide quality medical care to families in Waverley for over 20 years. She is interested in all aspects of general practice and has additional training in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. Her other passions are her family - both human and animal and literature.
