A nuclear physician is an imaging specialist. They conduct and interpret highly specialised imaging investigations that require radiation in order to be performed.
You will usually be referred to a nuclear physician by another doctor. They will perform the required investigation, often a test to diagnose a condition, and report back to the referring doctor.
