Stephen Lee AM has been a clinical teacher for 30 years. He has been the Head of the Department of Dermatology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital for 13 years, and holds academic positions at multiple institutions:
- Clinical Associate Professor, Central Clinical School, University of Sydney
- Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary), Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, Chinese University of Hong Kong
- Visiting Professor, China Medical University, Shenyang, China
- Undergraduate and Postgraduate Teacher, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Concord Repatriation General Hospital
Associate Professor Lee AM has held many positions with the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He is a Federal Councillor and Director of the Australian Medical Association, and is a Member of the following Committees: Ethics and Medico-Legal, Public Health and Child and Youth Health, and Constitution and Policy Review. Admitted to the AMA Roll of Fellows in May 2007.

Associate Professor Stephen Lee AM has presented widely as an invited speaker on the international stage, including China, South Africa, Malaysia and Hong Kong. He is the author of many articles on Dermatology and general medical issues. He was awarded Certificate of Meritorious Service, Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2007.
