Gavin Clark’s Background, Training and Interests

I was born and raised in Perth. After completing my medical degree at UWA, I worked in hospitals in Perth, Kalgoorlie, Cairns and Darwin before returning to Perth to specialise in orthopaedics. I have since completed my specialist training in Orthopaedics on the WA Training Scheme. My sub specialist training in knee and hip arthroplasty, as well as arthroscopic sports knee surgery was undertaken in Melbourne in 2004 and 2005. My research interest is in computer assisted knee replacement and hip replacement surgery. I consult on private, worker’s compensation, MVIT and DVA patients in my rooms. There are also times available for public patients from the Swan Districts catchment zone. I will endeavour to make urgent appointments available for acute knee injuries. Patient information on common orthopaedic conditions is available on my practice website.
